Can a locksmith open a gun safe?
Yes, a locksmith can unlock a gun safe. Top Security Locksmith can unlock combination lock safes, safes that use a key, and safes that have a digital keypad lock. This is true for many types and brands of safes. If your safe is locked and you can’t get in for any reason, give us a call.
What type of safe is right for me?
Choosing the right type of safe depends on several factors, including what you plan to store, where you plan to install the safe, and what threats you’re most concerned about (e.g., theft, fire, water damage). Whether you want to store documents, collectibles, guns, or jewelry you’ll want to consider the size, lock type, fire rating, and security rating. We have several safes in-stock in our showroom. If I buy a safe from you, can you deliver and install it?
Certainly. We’re able to deliver and install safes in many sizes. For larger safes, please contact us to get a quote. We’ll need to discuss where it’s going, the type of flooring you have, and how many steps we need to traverse. A site survey may be needed to provide a more accurate quote.
I inherited a safe but the combination doesn't work. Can you help without destroying the safe?
Yes, we can. Safe cracking is our specialty. This is a common situation we hear. Normally, we see combination locks that don’t open properly. We’re able to gain entry without permanently damaging the safe. Plus, we can even reset the combination or replace it with a keypad lock for easier use.
Do I need to bring my safe to you to work on it?
Not at all. If your safe is light enough, we encourage you to consider bringing it to us. If you simply need a new key or need to gain entry, you can bring the safe to our lockshop and drop it off or wait. Otherwise, we offer mobile locksmith service. We can come to you if your safe cannot be moved easily.
